We are pleased to announce the arrival of Japan Week, a celebration of Japanese food and culture beginning on March 1, 2012. Specifically focusing on the unique world of Japanese cuisine, Japan Week aims to promote a deeper understanding of Japan through its food.

With Azix, Inc., the Organization to Promote Japanese Restaurants Abroad (JRO) would like to cordially invite you to attend Japan Week’s Kickoff Event Opening Gala at Grand Central Terminal Vanderbilt Hall (87 E 42nd Street, New York 10017). The Gala will be held on March 1, 2012 from 6:30 to 9 PM.
During the morning and afternoon of the Kickoff Event, the public is invited to a celebration Japanese culture—food, music, and performances—and browse the merchandise and food products of various Japanese vendors. In the evening at 6:30 PM, Japan Week will host an exclusive gala inviting New York’s restaurant industry connoisseurs and major media to experience the latest in Japanese cuisine.
