The blade is white steel #1, which is the purest form of carbon steel making it extremely sharp. The handle is magnolia wood with two strips of bubinga, which is a rare African rosewood. Cooking with an extremely sharp knife is an experience of its own, and I hope to add this Yanagi to my collection in the near future.”
