Master Yoshikazu Ikeda is one of the most respected blacksmiths in Sakai. Ikeda-san started in 1967 as his father’s apprentice and has over 50 years of blacksmithing experience.

How do I purchase a Kizuna knife?

You will need a ticket to purchase a Kizuna knife.

Tickets for the Kizuna knife will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis at 10 AM on both days; Saturday, October 26th and Monday, October 28th.

Once you have a ticket, you need to be back to the showroom before 2pm to purchase 1 of the 14 knives. SALE STARTS AT 2PM ON EACH DAY. You can not purchase a Kizuna knife without a ticket.

Whether or not lines form before 10 AM is beyond our control.

Tickets are valid for that day only. We will not honor late ticket-holders or tickets from previous day.

Is there a limit?

There will be a strict limit of one Kizuna knife purchase per customer.

What if I have other people in my group (children, friends, etc.)?

Each member of your group must have their own ticket, and be present at check-out.

How much are the exclusives?
